With just two weeks to go before the start of Mario Strikers: Battle League, Nintendo has released a surprise demo of the game that will allow you to get your guards in before the June 10 whistle blows.
This time-limited demo will allow you to enter training mode to test characters and new gameplay elements. The demo is now available to Nintendo Switch Online members, but those who don’t have a subscription will be able to sign up for a free 7-day trial starting June 2 that will include cloud storage, classic games, and access to the game at line.

Online gaming is restricted to a few different time slots during the weekend of June 4th and 5th, which we show you below; some will be a little uncertain for certain time zones, but three a day is not bad at all!
- Saturday, June 4 – 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. BST
- Saturday, June 4: 12 to 1 p.m. BST
- Saturday, June 4: 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm BST
- Sunday, June 5 – 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. BST
- Sunday, June 5: 12 to 1 p.m. BST
- Sunday, June 5: 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm BST
Nintendo has also announced that the game will receive free updates after release. Maybe a free Daisy will be taken away for those of us who already miss the princess dressed in yellow? Or maybe some new fashions.
If you haven’t had a chance, check out our first impressions of the game when we had a hands-on time with it on Nintendo UK:
Will you try the demo? Let us know in the comments!
