Warriors guard Jordan Poole is nearing a four-year extension with Golden State that could be worth as much as $140 million, sources confirmed to The Athletic on Saturday. News of the deal was first reported by ESPN.

Poole’s new deal will be $123 million guaranteed, according to sources. Incentives, both likely and unlikely, could add an additional $17 million over the life of the contract. The deal was agreed to on Saturday, but has not been officially signed or announced.

That shuts down Poole for the next five seasons. He will make $3.9 million next season, the final one on his rookie deal, before the 2023-24 extension kicks in.
