The SpaceX spacecraft delivers supplies to the ISS

A SpaceX cargo ship carrying 2,600 kg of food and materials for scientific experiments has arrived at the International Space Station.

The Dragon spacecraft operated by private company SpaceX docked as planned, NASA announced Saturday.

The unmanned spacecraft was launched Thursday on SpaceX’s 25th contracted commercial mission from NASA’s Cape Canaveral spaceport in Florida and will remain on the ISS for about a month.

The scientific experiments conducted by Dragon are to investigate dust in the Earth’s atmosphere, as well as to investigate the aging of immune cells, among other things.
