Man charged with murder after missing woman’s body found dumped in Dural

Owner Deb Roach told the Herald she was “so angry” to hear of her former student’s death and the charges being filed.

He recalled that Kumar had a generous nature and would openly share words of praise that lifted the spirits of those around him.

“He made me feel special,” Roach said.

“She had beautiful eyes that lit up her entire face with her gorgeous smile.

“She loved the confidence it gave her and was sad when she couldn’t continue her lessons.”

Jane Tweedy, the founder of FAQ Business Training, had lost touch with Kumar in recent years but met her when the pair were regulars on her local small business networking circuit.

“I met her a dozen times and we shared several discussions,” Tweedy said.

“Shereen was always happy and kind, even though people weren’t always nice to her, and she was eager to learn more to grow professionally and help her clients.”

Tweedy said Kumar’s children were being supported by their father, who had no connection to the alleged crime.

“They are blessed to have a loving father to help them through this terrible time,” Tweedy said.

The place where the body was found remains a crime scene and is being examined by specialist forensic police.

Police reported Kumar missing on Thursday morning and Strike Force Casts were established to investigate his disappearance, with the help of PolAir and the Dog Unit.
