Earlier this week, it emerged that Ricky’s nephew had been served with a restraining order against the singer under Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law, following claims the two had been in a seven-month relationship which ended with his nephew having “fears for his safety”. Ricky’s lawyer vehemently denied the allegations at the time.

Yesterday, Ricky’s nephew withdrew his harassment claims in court, resulting in the case being dismissed. Ricky’s lawyers later released a statement saying: “We are pleased that our client has seen justice served and is now able to move forward with his life and career.”

“The petition came from the accuser asking for the case to be dismissed. He was never anything more than a troubled person making false allegations with absolutely nothing to back them up.”
Jwan, a Swedish artist who has been married to Ricky since 2017, posted a photo of himself being hugged by the singer with the caption: “The truth prevails ❤️”.
Ricky himself replied: “My strength and my calm. I love you.”
After his court appearance yesterday, Ricky said in a video obtained by TMZ: “It’s been so painful. It’s been devastating for me, for my family, for my friends. I don’t wish this on anybody.” .
