Albanese does not back down from his ambitious agenda, saying the government has a “responsibility” to comply.
“Safer work, eliminating the cost of living pressure. Cheaper child care,” he said.
“We will strengthen Medicare. We will fix care for the elderly. We will make sure that we do more things here in Australia and that it becomes a more resilient economy with advanced manufacturing.
“We will end climate wars.”
He also pledged to introduce legislation for a federal anti-corruption commission “this year” and a budget in October.
“We will show that we are an inclusive and mature country by recognizing the privilege we have of sharing this great island continent, this great multicultural nation, with the oldest continuous civilization on the planet and recognizing that in our constitution with a consecrated Voice in Parliament” .
