It seems Kevin Durant has the Phoenix Suns at the top of his wish list following his Brooklyn Nets change request.
“Phoenix is the place you want to go, I have a reasonable confidence in it,” Brian Windhorst said in his podcast. “I think Miami is second. What I’m not sure about is that Phoenix will be able to give Brooklyn what they want. And I’m not confident that it will prioritize Brooklyn.”
Tim Bontemps said he hoped Durant would end the Suns.
“If you look at these trades, there’s a connection point between what the player wants and what the team wants,” Bontemps said. “Kevin Durant would like to play for the Suns. We can all agree on that. The Phoenix Suns also have a lot of things the Brooklyn Nets would like. They won’t get Devin Booker in that change, but they have Ten Mikal Bridges, they have Deandre Ayton that they can put on a sign and swap, and they have Cam Johnson. “
The Suns also control all of their own draft picks, making it easier to create a competitive commercial offering for Durant.
