Kyrgios separated the gap in performance between his first and second rounds.

“Obviously the nerves. Just crossing the line in that first round was huge. I’ve been playing good tennis for the last month, so I was very surprised (with) how I played the other day. It wasn’t great. ”Kyrgios said.

“But there were a lot of positives. I didn’t play even the best I could and I overcame it, and today I was obviously in my zone. Just great body language, I just played well.”

Kyrgios surprised Krajinović with 24 aces and 50 winners.

The 27-year-old also recorded a 93-win percentage in the early services.
