Good morning Manchester United fans
Speculation continues to mount over who could launch a bid to take over the club.
The Glazer family announced earlier this week that they would “explore strategic alternatives” for the club and United fans are now hoping the controversial American family will sell.
It was revealed last night that David Beckham was open to being part of a bid to take over the club.
British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, who has already shown interest in the club, is preparing to make a move.
Other wealthy money men such as Elon Musk have also been linked with a move for United.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing for his first World Cup match in Qatar as Portugal prepare to face Ghana later today.
It has been far from a quiet week off the pitch for the 37-year-old who mutually agreed to terminate his contract on Tuesday.
The deal came after Ronaldo gave an explosive interview to Piers Morgan where he attacked the club and how it was being run.
He has been linked with moves such as Sporting Lisbon and Newcastle.
The former Real Madrid man has also been slapped with a two-match ban and a £60,000 fine by the FA.
This was after Ronaldo snatched a phone out of a fan’s hand in April.
