Alberta Lung is launching a Christmas sticker campaign with a goal of raising $500,000.
Almost 900,000 Albertans live with, or sadly die from, lung and respiratory diseases each year, according to the organization.
The sticker campaign will fund world-class research, programs and services to help Albertans with lung disease, with 100% of funds raised staying in Alberta.
“Our lungs, like our heart and brain, are not optional; they have to work so we can live,” explains Leigh Allard, CEO of Alberta Lung. “Some people inherit lung conditions, some acquire them by working and living, and some are exposed to viruses and infections that cause serious and sometimes life-threatening conditions. life
