Amazon’s second Prime Day event of the year, known as the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale, officially began today and will run for 48 hours until October 12. Don’t have an Amazon Prime membership? There are plenty of anti-Prime Day sales going on simultaneously, from Target’s Deal Days to Walmart’s Rollbacks and More event. And Best Buy has deals to buy, thanks to its 48-hour flash sale with deep discounts on TVs, headphones, appliances and more.
Best Buy’s 48-hour flash sale will take place on October 11 and 12, the same dates as Amazon’s second Prime Day event, and offers some of the best prices of the year.
Whether you’re looking for a laptop or TV upgrade, or just want to get in on the air fryer craze, the sale has something for you. We’ve highlighted several of our favorite deals below, but it’s worth perusing the entire sale to find exactly what you want.

One of our recommendations for the best Chromebooks, the 317 is essentially a Chrome OS all-in-one portable desktop, also known as a Chromebase. The large screen makes multitasking easier. You can play a YouTube video in the corner while working on a presentation and keep an eye on email or chat, all without overlapping windows. It’s big and heavy compared to all the smaller Chromebooks here, so it’s not a good choice if mobility is a priority. But it’s certainly small enough to move around the house, and with over 10 hours of battery life in my tests, you can work all day and still have time to video chat with family, play or stream a movie.

Apple’s most affordable tablet, the 10.2-inch iPad, didn’t get a design overhaul like its Mini cousin last fall, but it offers a faster processor, a better front-facing camera and a better screen than the Eighth generation iPad. . The biggest addition is storage, which was doubled to 64GB on the base model and 256GB on the boosted model. Other than that, the change you’ll probably welcome in this age of FaceTime and Zoom calls is that the front camera goes from 1.2 megapixels to a wider angle of 12 megapixels. The iPad also added Center Stage to keep the cup in the frame during video calls. It’s $60 off at Best Buy and Amazon; This is the biggest discount we’ve seen so far.
