Bloomberg UK’s Elon Musk attacks Twitter’s whistleblowing deal as dispute escalates

Lawyers for Elon Musk and Twitter Inc. are discussing how a whistleblower’s allegations could affect the outcome of the proposed $44 billion acquisition of the social media platform.

In a securities filing on Tuesday, Musk’s lawyers said allegations by Peiter Zatko, Twitter’s former security chief, including claims of “glaring deficiencies” in the platform’s defenses against hackers and privacy issues, they meant that Twitter had breached the terms of the merger agreement.
