The Herald Sun reports that the 18-year-old hit creator had to go on stage at 9pm, but canceled the show at 9.35pm due to illness, leaving a crowd of capacity at Rod Laver Arena.

In a lengthy message posted yesterday on his Instagram stories, Laroi, real name Charlton Howard, apologized to fans and explained that the illness was the cause of the last-minute cancellation.
The teenage star revealed that he had been feeling sick all day, but that he felt worse after arriving at the scene and taking a sound test, with his team calling the doctors who gave him a IV drip. .
“I promise you with all my heart that I gave it my all to try to get on stage tonight,” he wrote.
He also promised to reschedule the show for disappointed ticket holders.
