While we wait for official confirmation of the leaked documents on social media, it seems as if many have come around to the idea of a minor infraction from the Red Bull camp.
Sky Sports pundit Ted Kravitz recently chalked up the rumors to “spoilers” and didn’t expect any big surprises from the investigation.
“I’m hearing that the hot air, the noise in Singapore about several teams, two teams that had in a small way broken the cost limit that is effectively breaking the rules of Formula 1 and in a big way breaking the cost limit of Formula 1, it’s been watered down a bit,” he said.
“I wonder if there was a bit of shenanigans, something between the ongoing soap opera saga between Mercedes and Red Bull.”
