There’s a clinic in Chappell Farms today and a clinic in Innisfil on Tuesday, health unit officials say
NEWS RELEASE SIMCOE MUSKOKA DISTRICT HEALTH UNIT ************************* The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit continues to offer the emerging vaccination COVID- 19 one-day clinics at Simcoe Muskoka locations, with the next clinics taking place from September 26th to October 2nd. There will be face-to-face visits for those aged 5 and over, including the bivalent booster dose for those aged 18 and over, as capacity allows for the following:
Monday, September 26
- Clinic Location: POP-UP Clinic – Stayner Arena and Community Centre, 269 Regina St. Stayner Time: 1-6 pm
- Clinic Location: POP-UP Clinic – Chappell Farms, 617 Penetanguishene Rd., Barrie Time: 10 am to 4 pm
Tuesday, September 27
- Clinic Location: POP-UP Clinic – South Innisfil Community Centre, 1354 Killarney Beach Rd, Innisfil Time: 10 am to 3:30 pm
Wednesday, September 28
- Clinic Location: POP-UP Clinic – Huntsville Trinity United Church, 33 Main St. E., Huntsville Time: 10 am to 2 pm
Thursday, September 29
- Clinic Location: POP-UP Clinic – Orillia Common Roof – Board Room, 169 Front St. S., Orillia Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m
GO-VAXX mobile and bus clinics continue to operate by appointment only. Appointments for GO-VAXX clinics can also be booked up to four days prior to the clinic through the COVID-19 Vaccination Portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Center at 1-833-943-3900.
The health unit continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations by appointment only to people six months and older at the Georgian Mall, 509 Bayfield St. (upper level) in Barrie:
- Wednesday: 1pm – 7pm
- Friday: from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m
- Saturday: from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m
Appointments are also available at Health Office Immunization Clinic locations in Midland, Orillia, Cookstown, Collingwood, Huntsville and Gravenhurst and can be booked through the COVID-19 Vaccination Portal or by calling the provincial vaccine contact at 1-833-943-3900.
In addition, the RVH COVID-19 Immunization Clinic at 29 Sperling Dr. in Barrie continues to offer appointments and reserved tours from 10am to 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Appointments can also be booked at the Couchiching Ontario Health Team Clinic located in the Orillia Soldier Memorial Hospital Kiwanis Building – West Entrance 170 Colborne St., W.
People six months and older can also get the vaccine at some local pharmacies or make appointments through some primary care providers and family health teams who offer the vaccine as part of their regular clinical practice. Pop-up mobile clinics and GO-VAXX will continue to be scheduled in Simcoe and Muskoka.
