Hilary Swank revealed on Wednesday that she is pregnant with twins.
The 48-year-old actress told US Breakfast TV that she was “so happy” to share news of her pregnancy.
“This is something I’ve wanted for a long time, and my next thing is I’m going to be a mother,” she said. “And not just one but two.”
The Oscar winner went on to say that she “can’t believe it.”
It later appeared in He lives with Kelly and Ryan where she cradled her baby body in a patterned dress.
“I’m feeling really good right now,” she told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, adding that her clothes “started not fitting.”
Swank has talked about her plans for the kids over the years.
“I would definitely like to have kids one day,” she said Boys don’t cry The star told People in 2006. “It’s definitely something I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl.”
Swank noted at the time that they “love the kids” and added, “That would be a big thing for me to happen someday when the time is right.”
The star was married to Chad Lowe at the time, but divorced the actor, now 54, the following year.
Swank dated her agent John Campisi from 2007 to 2012 and was briefly engaged to financial advisor Ruben Torres in 2016 before moving on with her now-husband Philip Schneider.
Swank and the producer married in August 2018 after two years of dating.
