Justis Huni has won by unanimous decision on points over Joe Goodall and is now 6-0 for his career.
The 23-year-old is now the Australian heavyweight champion of the IBF Pan Pacific, WBO Oriental, OPBF and WBC.
The three judges score it 100-90, 98-92, 98-93 in the manner of Huni.
“I knew it would be difficult … but all I can say is that it’s good to be back,” Huni said after his victory.
“I never take any of the accumulation talks personally, it’s just a bit of a back-and-forth talk. At the end of the day, actions speak louder than words.
“I just take one fight at a time and keep building my way to the top.”
