The shelter-in-place order in the city of Memphis has been lifted now that 19-year-old Ezekiel Kelly has been captured, according to Memphis police.

Ezekiel Kelly is in custody, according to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested after wrecking near Ivan Road and Hodges Road.
SUSPECT IS IN CUSTODY: Police at the scene of Ivan and Hodge have just arrested Ezekiel Kelly. He suffered injuries from crashing his car.

According to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, Kelly stole a Dodge Challenger in Southaven and crashed it in Whitehaven near Ivan Road and Hodge Road.
He was stuck in the car at 9:15 p.m
There are multiple police forces in the area.

Memphis police said everyone in the Whitehaven area, especially Ivan Road and Hodge Road, is sheltering in place and staying indoors.

According to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Ezekiel Kelly was seen near the area of I-55 and Stateline Road, but returned to Memphis at 9:05 p.m.

The Delta Fair was shut down due to the shooting spree in Memphis, the fair’s public information officer told FOX13.
The fair reopened a short time later with Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies on the scene and people were allowed to leave.
Memphis police said 19-year-old Ezekiel Kelly is the person responsible for shooting multiple people across the city.

MATA streetcar and bus services have been halted indefinitely as a precaution.
“In lieu of the current threat announced by the Memphis Police Department regarding an active shooter in the Memphis area. MATA streetcar and bus services are suspended indefinitely. MATA leaders are acting with extreme caution and care to the safety of its riders and drivers,” said a MATA press release.

The University of Memphis has been closed. Shots were fired in the area of Patterson and Southern, according to a school safety alert.
All doors to the University have been closed for general security.

The man claims to have shot five people in a Facebook Live video seen by FOX13.
In this video, the man appears to walk into an AutoZone store, point a gun at a man and pull the trigger.
Memphis police said the 19-year-old man responsible for multiple shootings is in a gray SUV.
Police said the man is still at large and urged everyone to stay indoors.

It is unknown how many shootings this man is connected to at this time, but Memphis Police have reported at least three shootings today.
A 24-year-old man was killed on Lyndale Avenue at 12:56 a.m.
A man was shot and killed at a BP gas station on East Parkway at 4:35 p.m., police said.
Police said a woman was shot just a minute later on Norris Road and critically injured.

A dangerous gunman is roaming Memphis shooting people, according to Memphis police.
Police said this is the 19-year-old man responsible for the shooting in Memphis on Wednesday, September 7th.

At least two shootings were reported in Memphis as of 7 p.m., a fatal shooting at a BP gas station on South Parkway and a woman critically injured after being shot on Norris Road near I-240 .
Memphis police tweeted around 7 p.m. alerting the public.
Police said the man drives a blue or silver Infiniti car and is filming himself shooting people on Facebook Live.
Police do not have an exact location for this man at this time.
Memphis police said the Infiniti he’s in has a red dealer tag and a broken back window.
