The Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Netflix trailer was released today, with the Duchess crying in the explosive documentary.
The highly-anticipated $157 million show hits screens in a week’s time, with the trailer dropping just hours after Princess Kate and Prince William arrived in the United States.
And, Netflix released the trailer on Twitter today with the caption: “Harry and Meghan. A global Netflix event. Coming soon, only on Netflix.”
The series is called Harry and Meghan and is said to have six episodes.
The 59-second clip shows a series of photos and videos, with snippets of Harry and Meghan talking.
In the short video, Harry says: “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”
And Meghan is quoted as saying: “When the stakes are so high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story?”
Photos and videos of the couple dancing, playing guitar and taking selfies have been shared in the trailer.
The show is said to give an insight into the couple’s ‘love story’.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly requested a delay in the show, putting them at odds with Netflix bosses.
It is understood the pair wanted to push back the controversial TV series to 2023 amid backlash over the new series of The Crown.
