All operations at the Toronto Island Airport have been suspended due to a suspicious package, according to police.
Emergency crews were called to the ferry terminal at Billy Bishop Airport shortly before 4pm on Saturday after a suspicious package was located.
The terminal has been evacuated and airport operations have been suspended until the area is determined to be safe, according to police.
The Emergency Unit has been dispatched to the scene.
There is no estimated timetable for when operations will resume. The police ask the public to avoid the area.
