Vice President Harris pledged Tuesday that the Biden administration is committed to forging partnerships with Africa’s young leaders as she delivered a speech as part of a three-day summit of US-African leaders that the administration organizes in Washington this week.
“I strongly believe that the creativity and ingenuity of young African leaders will help shape the future,” Harris said. “And that their ideas, insights, innovations and initiatives will benefit the whole world. The Biden-Harris administration intends to stand with you, these young leaders, knowing that it is the spark and determination of young people that will move us forward.”
