Sony has announced the DualSense Edge, a new premium quality wireless controller.
First revealed at Opening Night Live, the DualSense Edge is a high-end controller that appears to be Sony’s answer to the Xbox Elite range of controllers.
A new PS blog post has detailed the highly customizable controller, which lets you set up custom control maps and even disable specific buttons.
Visually, the controller is very much in line with the regular DualSense, but with a few extra elements to bring it up to premium standards. As with the Xbox controller, you can expect interchangeable thumb caps and adjustable dead zones.

While the controller was shadowed in the trailer, we can see paddle switches/rear buttons on the back (which may be in dome or level style configurations), as well as some sort of new surface under the sticks analog
A switch on the rear shoulder is shown with three settings, which likely adjust the travel distance of the triggers, a new feature for the controller.
