Round 1: Williams goes forward with his jab. He’s landing as Conway looks to counter. Williams throws with confidence as Conway backs up against the ropes. Nice shot to the body by Conway. Williams looks to answer with a punch, but Conway catches him with another to the body. Williams slips to the left hand.

Round 2: Williams walks Conway to the corner, Conway shows good defense as he clinches. Williams now looks to attack the body / Conway backs him up with a 1-2. More body work from Williams, he’s scoring. Conway looks to keep Williams on the end of her jab. Conway scores with a forehand. Williams stays aggressive, but cautious as Conway keeps the right hand down. Williams to the body. He ducks for a hard punch, Conway makes him pay with a counter combo.

Round 3: Williams opens Round 3 with a nice right hand. He has been dictating the pace of this fight. Conway triples into his jab and that gets Williams’ attention, then Conway catches him with a hard right. Another hard right hand has Williams on the defensive. Williams goes for his jab to regain control. Williams back to the body, now having trouble getting rid of this jab.

Round 4: Conway does a great job of keeping Williams at bay with punches from distance. Williams mixes it up and lands a left to the body. Conway latches onto the jab. Williams blows with an uppercut. Now it’s Williams who wins with the jab. Conway cracks Williams with a clean counter right. Williams is still working on the jab, but is struggling to land power punches.

Round 5: Williams hooks Conway with the jab. Out again in this round, Conway counters again. Conway moves forward, jab extended. Both fighters take a measured approach to this round. Conway avoids some power punches as the round comes to a close.

Round 6: Big right from Williams and just a follow up. Smart clinch from Conway. Williams ducks a body kick and gets his defenses up as Conway counters. Nice left lands on top for Conway. Williams continues to attack the body. Conway doubles over with a thump. Williams jab of his own out there. Conway’s good 1-2 catches Williams’ attention. Williams hits the body.

Round 7: Williams returns to aggressive attack as Conway backs up. Williams is cutting the ring. He settles for hitting the body while waiting for Conway to give him an opening, finds one and lands a right. Goals for the left for Williams. He’s looking for heads and Conway gets hit with a left again. Both fighters start to open up.

Round 8: Williams throwing lefts with confidence. Conway sneaks in one hit. Throw a right up the middle. Williams lands a right hand and Conway hangs on. We have a break in the action to fix Conway’s wrist tape. Williams looks to use that body shot to set up his left power. Williams sheet music body work. Conway doubles with the jab and connects. He can’t keep Williams off him though. Lots of sloppy punches from Conway to close out the round.

Round 9: Williams lands a right hand as Conway works out of the corner. There’s the uppercut Williams was going for and Conway drops to a knee, that’s a takedown. Williams heads to the finish line once action resumes. Conway scores with a forehand. Williams lets out a primal roar for some reason. Enter a Conway counter.
