‘We wanted our children to be there’ Rochelle Humes has shown off her stunning wedding dress for the first time, after renewing her wedding vows to husband Marvin in Italy.
Her dress was teamed with a bespoke Helen Martin lace veil which Neville’s team hand-embroidered with the couple’s wedding motif ‘Ten down, forever to go’.
Rochelle revealed that it was their little ones who had ‘prompted’ them to reaffirm their vows, as they had been asking why they weren’t at the 2012 ceremony.
Their daughters Alaia, nine, and Valentina, five, were bridesmaids for the ceremony, while their son Blake, 21 months, was dressed in a mini tuxedo like his best man.
Having married in July 2012 at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, to mark their 10th anniversary, the couple were joined by 75 of their close friends and family.

Rochelle said: “The girls have seen the video and seen pictures from our wedding day and Alaia in particular kept asking, “Why wasn’t he there?” She wanted to know, “Where was he? In your belly?”
“She wouldn’t let it go and that spurred us on because we had always said this was something we wanted to do.”
The Up hitmaker added that they had used the day to appreciate their time together over the past decade, saying: “Life goes by so fast it’s easy to forget to be present.”

“Today was an opportunity for us to take what we’ve achieved in ten years and say, ‘Wow, we did that!’
Marvin said his wife had “looked so amazing” on the day that it “took his breath away all over again”.
He added: “Some people marry their soul mate, some marry their lovers, some marry their best friend, I did all three with Rochelle and I’m truly the luckiest man alive.”
Reflecting on the day of celebration, the JLS star and Capital radio DJ said being with his wife and children, who he described as his ‘world’, was a ‘moment like never before I will forget.”
Also at the vow renewal were Marvin’s bandmates JB Gill and Oritse Williams.
The group’s fourth member, Aston Merrygold, was unable to attend due to work commitments, but his fiancée Sarah Richards joined the celebrations, as did Radio 1 DJ Melvin Odoom.
