Tensions rose in Russia over the mobilization for war in Ukraine on Monday, as two military recruitment centers were attacked and lines grew at the border with men of draft age wanting to leave the country.

A Russian man opened fire on a military recruiting station in Siberia, wounding its commanding officer, hours after another man crashed a car into the entrance of a different recruiting center and set it on fire with Molotov cocktails.
