Samsung Electronics delighted fans today with the announcement of its latest generation of premium, foldable smartphones within the Galaxy series.

The latest additions to the Galaxy family include a range of Galaxy watches, buds and the highly anticipated smartphones, featuring the latest foldable technology.

The Galaxy Flip4 and Galaxy Fold4 have been highly anticipated by enthusiastic and curious consumers, challenging all preconceived notions about the possibilities of wearable technology.

The Galaxy Flip4 offers an upgrade thanks to a larger screen and improved performance, all with the unmatched portability and style that Samsung is known for.

Available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB and in four beautiful colors, including the new and iconic Bora Purple, Pink Gold, Graphite and Blue, the Flip4 redefines the art of self-expression through a powerful design that slips right into the back pocket.

The Galaxy Flip4 retails starting at $1,499 and comes in a base or custom model for a more personalized experience.

Its cousin in the Galaxy series, the Galaxy Fold4, pushes all the boundaries of smartphone technology, combining comfort with luxury where other manufacturers have compromised.

As one of Samsung’s most premium designs, the Z Fold4 offers the ultimate one-handed experience with a slim hinge redesigned for the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Fold.

The Galaxy Fold4 gives consumers the best of both worlds, with an immersive extra-large screen to work with that folds in half, providing portability and dual-screen capabilities that enable seamless integration between apps.

“The new Galaxy Z series range is the generation of foldables that will make the category mainstream. Adoption signals are steadily growing from the volume of foldable devices ‘in the wild’, increasing search trends in line of consumers, indicating purchase intent, app optimization, and more,” said Garry McGregor, Vice President of Samsung Australia’s Mobile Experience Division.

“We know that consideration of foldables has doubled among 18-45 year olds, with Gen Z specifically showing a whopping 273% increase since last year.

“Without a doubt, foldables have more than emerged, they have arrived and they have a bright future.

“The foldable market is forecast to continue its rapid growth, more than doubling by 2023, and the fact that Samsung Australia has held year-on-year prices shows that this is very much the case in this market,” McGregor said.

The Galaxy Fold4 comes in Phantom Black, Beige or Greygreen and offers multiple memory options, with memory variants of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The Galaxy Fold4 starts at $2,449, and both Z-series smartphones are available for pre-order starting August 11, 2022.

But smartphones weren’t the only gadgets featured in the latest product lineup.

Samsung’s expanded Galaxy Watch 5 series and Galaxy Buds2 Pro also made their debut in Australia this week.

The Galaxy Watch5 Pro is a new addition to the range, with toughness and durability at its core. Made with the adventurous athlete in mind, it acts as the perfect companion for an active lifestyle. The Watch5, on the other hand, is a customizable addition to enhance everyone’s everyday life.

“We know there’s a clear desire for an ecosystem of connected products. That’s why we’re particularly excited about our latest additions to the Galaxy wearables portfolio, as well as the new Watch5 Pro,” said McGregor.

“They offer our customers supreme audio and enhanced health and wellness functionality, bringing the best of the best.

“It’s a very exciting time for the category and with the full support of our partners, who offer full ranges of color distortion, memory variants at the best price, we know our customers in Australia will love these new devices.”

Pre-orders for all devices begin on August 11th, with the release on sale on September 2nd. Retailers have various pre-order offers, with fantastic savings.

The Galaxy Z series smartphones will be available at Samsung’s e-store and experiential stores, as well as all of Samsung’s retail and telco partners.
