There’s a battle of the GOATS in Tampa today as Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers take on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. The Packers have owned the “Battle of the Bays” so far, as Green Bay jumped out to a 14-3 halftime lead.
With both teams missing multiple outings here in Week 3, that allows other young players to step up their chances. That’s exactly what rookie Romeo Doubs did in the Packers’ opening drive, as he caught three passes for 35 yards and a touchdown. On Green Bay’s next drive, Rodgers marched 71 yards down the field in 12 plays, finding Allen Lazard in the end zone for the Packers’ second touchdown of the game.
Can Brady and the Bucs bounce back in the second half? Follow along on the live blog below as we break down this matchup as it happens.
