We’re halfway between the Cowboys and Lions Game of the Week, and it’s Dallas with a 6-3 lead in Dak Prescott’s return to the lineup.
Dallas had two chances to punt the ball for a touchdown, only to kick a field goal from the 2-yard line on first down. They also turned the ball over when Noah Brown was brought down inside the 5-yard line on a Prescott fumble late in the second quarter. Before Brown’s fumble, running back Ezekiel Elliott appeared to have suffered a serious knee injury, but he managed to walk to the sideline and even tried to get back into the game. Prescott completed 9-of-14 passes for 104 yards in his first action since injuring his thumb in Week 1.
Detroit managed two field goals in the first half, but missed Amon-Ra St. Brown due to a concussion on his second play of the game. Jared Goff went 10-of-12 for 85 yards, working mostly in the lower areas of the field.
Will the Cowboys offense come together in the second half, or will the Lions pull off the upset on the road? We will find the answers to this question and many more soon. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog for the rest of the day as we update you with stats, scores and highlights.
