Throughout the show, gamers around the world were treated to announcements such as Final Fantasy 16’s release date, FromSoftware’s Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Hades 2, BioShock creator Ken Levine’s next game, and more .

The latest Final Fantasy 16 trailer reveals a June 2023 release date
Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy 16 will be released on June 22, 2023. In addition to the release date, fans were treated to another great look at the game, including its Summon battle system and the latest iteration of Ifrit.
FromSoftware reveals Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
Elden Ring developer FromSoftware has officially announced Armored Core 6 alongside revealing a new trailer showing giant robots fighting each other. We still don’t know much about the game, but it was confirmed that this new title will hit the market in 2023.
Hades 2 announced with a gameplay trailer
Hades 2 was officially announced at The Game Awards and will return players to the world of the original which we awarded our Game of the Year in 2020. Developer Supergiant Games will welcome players to try out Hades 2 via the early access in 2023.
Ken Levine’s upcoming Judas game has finally been revealed
Ken Levine, the creator of BioShock, has finally revealed his long-awaited game, Judas. Details are scarce, but it appears to be a narrative-driven, single-player first-person shooter that definitely oozes a bit of BioShock in space.
“A disintegrating starship. A desperate escape plan,” shares the official press release. “You are the mysterious and troubled Judas. Your only hope for survival is to make or break alliances with your worst enemies. Will you work together to fix what you have broken, or will you let it burn?”
Death Stranding 2 officially announced

Idris Elba joins Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, new gameplay trailer revealed
Cyberpunk 2077’s main expansion in 2023, Phantom Liberty, will see Idris Elba join Keanu Reeves in the cast. Elba will play an American veteran named Solomon Reed and is “apparently the only person players can trust to help them complete an impossible mission of espionage and survival.”
New Star Wars: Jedi Survivor trailer confirms March release
In addition to the confirmation that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on March 17, 2023, The Game Awards gave us a new gameplay trailer that shows more of Cal Kestis’ next adventure. This new story picks up five years after the original, and Kestis has become a stronger and more powerful Jedi Knight. Unfortunately, the Empire has also grown stronger.
Diablo 4 is coming in June 2023
Blizzard has officially announced that Diablo 4 will be released on June 6, 2023, and a public beta will take place before then. This news comes after our chance to get a hands-on preview of the new entry in the legendary series.
Street Fighter 6 will fight until the June 2, 2023 release date
The long-awaited Street Fighter 6 will be making its way to a release date of June 2, 2023. The news came alongside a new trailer featuring Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa, JP and more.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to feature Kevin Conroy, new release date revealed
In addition to revealing that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on May 26, 2023, The Game Awards took a moment to pay tribute to the late Kevin Conroy, who has been confirmed to voice Batman for last time in the upcoming rocksteady title.
The first Super Mario Bros. movie. reveals Mario’s introduction to Pipe Travel
The first clip of the Super Mario Bros. movie has arrived. and gives us a great look at the upcoming film and is full of homages to the games that inspired the project. Toad takes Mario through the Mushroom Kingdom and we see our favorite plumber introduced to warp travel.
The Tekken 8 Game Awards trailer confirms the return of a major character
A new Tekken 8 trailer has been released and it’s been confirmed that Jin Kazama’s mother, Jun Kazama, will return as a playable character after apparently dying in Tekken 2. We also get a good look at what the combat will feel like and the new iterations. by King, Paul, Lars, Marshall Law and Jack-8.
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC announced exclusively for PS5, coming in April
Horizon Forbidden West will officially receive DLC in the form of Burning Shores. This new adventure will take Aloy to Los Angeles, with the Hollywood sign on display. Burning Shores will be released on April 19, 2023 and will be exclusive to PS5 players.
Crash Team Rumble is a new 4v4 multiplayer game coming in 2023
Crash Team Rumble is a new 4v4 multiplayer game launching in 2023 that will task players with leading their team to victory as they “slide, smash, bump and crash” as a team to be the “furry” to store the most Wumpa Fruit in their end zone while defending the opposing team’s throw zone.”
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 gameplay has been revealed
At The Game Awards 2022, we saw the first gameplay footage of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, which will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2023. The trailer showed the fight of the Defenders of Mankind. against the growing darkness that includes skeletons, demons and other monsters.
Celeste Creator’s upcoming game Earthblade gets a first trailer
Celeste developer Extremely OK Games has shared a first trailer for its upcoming game, Earthblade, and confirmed that it will be released in 2024. The game was previously described as a 2D “action exploration” game that features a magnificent art style. that simply sings in motion.
Bayonetta Origins: Cherry and the Lost Demon announced
Although Bayonetta 3 was released in October, a new spin-off set in the franchise’s universe is coming to Switch on March 17, 2023. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will allow players to control both a young version of Cereza from Bayonetta 3 as Cheshire.
Hellboy is getting a slick video game adaptation
A new video game based on Mike Mignola’s Hellboy with a Web of Wyrd subtitle was officially announced at The Game Awards, and it will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch and PC. The game is said to be a roguelite action adventure with an original story.
Crime Boss: Rockay City announced with cast including Chuck Norris, Danny Trejo and Vanilla Ice
Published by 505 Games, Crime Boss: Rockay City features a star-studded cast including Michael Madsen, Chuck Norris, Danny Glover, Kim Bassinger, Danny Trejo and Vanilla Ice. The game appears to be a stealth action FPS that tasks players with becoming the leader of a criminal underworld in a fictional version of 1990s Florida.
The Lords of the Fallen: First Game Revealed for Soulslike Reboot
The first game for The Lords of the Fallen has been revealed and it shows off a Soulslike that looks to be another challenging RPG set in a dark fantasy world. This new game is sort of a reboot of 2016’s Lords of the Fallen and takes place 1,000 years after the original and in a world five times its size.
The Last of Us Part 1 PC release date set for March
The Last of Us Part 1 will no longer be a PlayStation exclusive title on March 3, 2023, as it will finally come to PC. The port was supposed to arrive shortly after the PS5 launch in September, but it looks like the studio will take a little longer to get it right.
