Depending on what you want to do with the 3D printer, it can be an expensive hobby. The Saturn and Mars ELEGOO are 3D printers of masked stereolithography apparatus (MSLA) that use a vat of liquid photosensitive resin and a series of UV LED lights to form objects.
To print objects, Saturn and Mars use an LCD photomask to quickly flash the resin with UV lights as it moves layer by layer, causing it to harden and heal.
Unlike filament printers, where the layers are much more obvious, the surface finish of these resin printers is considerably smoother with better print quality overall.

If this is your first time using a resin printer, it is important that you wash off excess liquid resin when the print job is complete. After that, you will need to dry it and then cure it by exposing it to UV light and heat.
