Queensland Police have declared an emergency with reports of a shooting in the Western Downs.
An emergency was declared in Wieambilla, about 300km west of Brisbane, shortly after 6pm AEST.
9News reporter Jordan Fabris says there are early details of three missing officers.
“Several police forces are present at the property,” Queensland Police said.
“Wains Road is closed and the declaration zone covers the area between Chinchilla Tara Rd, Wieambilla Rd, Bennetts School Rd and Mary Street.
“Residents in the declared areas must remain indoors until further notice, and motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area.
“There is no further information at this time.”
