If you want something more current, the Apple Watch Series 8 is also on sale for $349. This was the advertised price at Walmart on Black Friday, but it is now sold out. Fortunately, Amazon has matched the price of the Cyber Monday deal.
Walmar Cyber Monday deal: Apple Watch SE for $149
Although a new and considerably more expensive second-generation Apple Watch SE was released this year, the first-generation Apple Watch SE is still a very relevant watch. It was launched in September 2020, with an age of just over two years. It may not have all the bells and whistles of newer models, but it’s easily more than enough watch for most people. Amazon’s Cyber Monday deal: Apple Watch 8 for $349
The Apple Watch Series 8 launched on September 16, 2022, and we’re already seeing some substantial discounts. Amazon is offering $50 off the Apple Watch Series 8, making the 41mm model $349 (regularly $399) and the 45mm model $379 (regularly $429).
Apple’s Series 8 is an incremental upgrade to the Series 7, and aesthetically they look almost identical. The Series 8 incorporates the best features of the Series 7 such as the OLED Retina Always-On display, the dual-core CPU (now called the “S8” processor, although it is functionally the same as the S7 processor in the Series 7), the rugged IP6X dust and swim resistant housing (up to 50mm), and the plethora of health features like ECG, blood oxygen and heart rate monitors. Two new features of the Series 8 are a built-in temperature sensor (primarily aimed at women’s health), as well as drop and car accident detection.
