Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released a photo album of never-before-seen footage from their royal wedding in a new trailer for the second installment of their Netflix documentary.
In a short teaser before the drop of three chapters this Thursday Harry and MeghanThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen dancing at their 2018 reception at Frogmore House.
The couple revealed their first dance was to Wilson Pickett’s 60s soul bop. Land of 1000 Dancesas they shared photos of the happy moment.
“I just wanted the music to be fun, even our first dance,” says Meghan, as she begins humming the song. “That was our first dance. It was so much fun, it was spinning like a whirlwind… It was so great.”
They also shared a number of other photos showing the couple partying with friends, including Meghan’s Elton John. dresses co-star Abigail Spencer, his former stylist Jessica Mulroney and a happy photo of Harry with his pals.
But among the more than a dozen new images, no photos of the royal family are included.
Although Harry’s family attended the celebration, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, there appears to be no footage of them from the reception in the new trailer.
Charles had walked Meghan down the aisle at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
It comes as the final three episodes of his headline documentary premiere on November 15.
While the first three episodes covered the early days of their love story and how the intrusion of the press led to their decision to move to the United States in early 2020, the latest is expected to delve deeper into his relations with the royal family.
The $150 million document, directed by Liz Garbus, has sparked widespread backlash, largely because her decision to share such intimate details appears to defy Meghan and Harry’s previous claims that they have stepped away from royal life for privacy “basic”.
However, the couple’s spokeswoman, Ashley Hansen, hit out at the tabloid press yesterday, accusing them of making up the privacy “narrative”.
In a fiery statement, he said News from New York: “His statement announcing his decision to step back makes no mention of privacy and reiterates his desire to continue with his public roles and duties.
“Any suggestion otherwise speaks to a key point in this series.”
