Eligible Albertans can now book an appointment for a monkeypox vaccine in nine cities across the province.
The shots are now available in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge in the South Zone, as well as Calgary, Edmonton, Edson, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and St. Paul.
The Alberta government says Imvamune has been approved in Canada for people 18 and older who are at high risk of exposure to the virus.
The vaccines have been available in Calgary and Edmonton since July 29, and now more eligible people can get them.
