TV chef Manu Feildel reveals the next chapter of his career

TV chef Manu Feildel has taken another step away from the kitchen and into the boardroom instead.

The fan favorite ditches the apron and dons a suit to impart his words of wisdom to Sydney’s small business owners in a series of roadshows.

Feildel is partnering with advisory service My Business, speaking on his Sydney tour next week about how he’s dealt with obstacles along the way.

The My Kitchen Rules star made his name running and owning restaurants such as Bilson’s and L’etoile in Sydney.

However, Manu vowed last year that it is a path he would not venture down again.

“Never say never, but I think my wife would kill me if I did,” he says. “A lot of things would have to change in Australia for me to go back to a restaurant because it’s a very fickle business,” he told The Sydney Morning Herald.

“The margins are so small these days that you have a lot of work to do to be successful.”

However, it changed scope during the pandemic and launched its own range of sauces, By Manu.

The business has doubled profits in the past two years.
